Victoria falls was memorable and stunning. Just the sheer sound of the water falling like a white wall, the spray hitting your face on its way downwards, was imposing and unforgettable. I was in the country briefly, to visit drought-affected communities and see whether the organization I worked for could help provide awareness training and support the community so that they could understand how to revive local agriculture by understanding how to preserve soil moisture and use alternative farming methods.
The local partners who were with me to introduce me to their communities told me that Zambians always say that their side of Victoria Falls is the prettiest, while the Zimbabweans always argue that their side is the prettiest. The Falls are so huge and extensive that they cross the Zambia-Zimbabwean border.
